Casa Dei Normanni: DEA al mare

There was a large puddle of water under the bed which was never cleaned even through we saw this upon self check in. Also the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet and our towels were dirty.

The accommodation is in the city center, very good location, but ZTL zone, you can't drive in by car. The accommodation is very well equipped, spacious and clean, the heating is great, absolutely suitable for winter. There is an excellent breakfast restaurant nearby, next to it is an enoteca, many restaurants in the surrounding streets.

Booking has the sign that parking is available, pay attention to this, because it’s not!

Really nice Apartment in the city centre. It was really close to the beach and also to the parking spots. The host was very nice and took great care. Also recommended a really good restaurant after coming there late in the evening.

Very clean, perfect location, well equipped, service from the owner was great. She had a lot of information and was there to help and give suggestions.

Once you locate the property, you can’t have a better location to all the key sights of the city. It’s a short stroll up to the duomo or down to the picturesque beach. Room is nice and spacious and extremely comfortable. We stayed for one night but I recommend more than one night. It’s just too much hassle otherwise.

It was tricky to know how far the parking would be from the accommodation I.e how close can we get to the apartment without a traffic violation and not dragging suitcases through congested streets. Although our hostess gave us excellent and accurate information about where to park, the sheer number of cars meant we couldn’t get close. I am grateful we were in a ‘shoulder season’!

Perfect location right in the middle of Cefalù old town. Apartment was beautifully appointed with every attention to detail. Clean and modern, yet within an ancient building……wonderful!
