Cottage , seaside views, quiet beach, awesome view

The only good point was the location and view .

The whole of the accommodation was filthy, the bathrooms and shower were the worst I've seen with hair and scum in the showers. The bath had a dirty ring around it and black mould and scum on the taps. We were unable to use the showers as they were so dirty..We had to clean all the kitchen items prior to use. Saucepans were filthy with old baked on food. The floors were stained and dirty.The doors to outside didnt close properly and had tape all around them. The were wires hanging down and extension leads hanging down in the wardrobe cupboard.The ceiling downstairs was water damaged and stained and there was black mould.The freezer had no shelves was dirty and full of ice.The mattresses were filthy and stained ,we found nail cuttings in the one bedroom.We have photos of all the issues. This could be a lovely property but it needs a really deep clean and alot of work doing to it.

The location is great with an amazing view.

It’s a 2 bedroom house, not a 3 bedroom house, so we felt very disappointed and misled when we arrived. The 3rd “bedroom” is a bed that folds out of a cupboard in the living room. The owner blames Booking.com saying he can’t change the description. It’s a tired property that has seen better days, clean but with things like tape over window and door gaps and ripped flooring. Could be lovely but needs a lot of TLC.

The place was advertised as three bedroom property, I booked it as I was particular about having three bedrooms but in reality it was only two bedrooms with a pullout bed in the living room. As soon as I checked in I contacted the property about my discontent but they shrugged it off. They clearly lied about three bedrooms!!! The house doesn’t have a heating system they only provided one portable heater and it was not enough to warm up the whole ground floor. It was freezing and when I tried to contact the property they never responded. The fridge was dirty with leftover food. The bathroom clearly was not cleaned and our beds even had dirt and hair. I was so let down by this property. My kids and my family we were freezing in the February weather.

we all felt at home as soon as we arrived. very comfy and spacious with great views on the decking. 2 minute drive to beach front car park. brilliant bistro on the front.

couple of issues with slow filling cistern downstairs. plug in en-suite not working. door handle from front door to living space kept coming off

We had a wonderful stay at Barry’s place – it truly had everything anyone could need. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and the thoughtful touches, like the biscuits, made us feel very welcome. Barry’s hospitality was exceptional, and his contact throughout just highlighted how much he cares about his guests. Communication was great, and although the signal on my end was a bit patchy, Barry was always kind and accommodating. We left feeling relaxed and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here – it’s a good little getaway. Thank you again, Barry, for making our stay so enjoyable!

For the price there is not much to moan about.
