Cottage , seaside views, quiet beach, awesome view

Liked the location and view of the sea from the balcony

Unfortunately it was not clean we had to wash everything before we used it for example cutlery, cups and plates downstairs bathroom had not been cleaned sink and shower were really dirty with dust grime and hair, toilet just had some cleaning fluid put in that’s all.

The cooker didn’t work only the grill Bird poo all down the inside of the curtain in the living room toilet down stairs didn’t flush properly upstairs shower head broken water stains on the ceiling a pice of rope holding double door to pull out bed shut

Plenty of bed choices, great views, nice deck, hot showers

I picked up dog poo in the garden/rough grass area, the oven didn’t seem to get very hot, I couldn’t find any larger towels but luckily brought my own

The property is not fit for purpose. It was absoultely flithy. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned for at least 2025 or if it had it must of been a toddler cleaning it. We left early as we couldn’t stand staying in such flith for any longer. Flithy… The washing machine and door was broken , curtains were hanging off. The property needs some looking at before it is rented out again. It ruined our holiday.

Unfortunately there isn’t anything positive to say about the property other than it did have a lovely view.

I was incredibly disappointed that firstly the property was so dirty on arrival that we couldn’t stay and secondly , Sea crest cottage was not as advertised. There were only 2 bedroom and the photos are very deceptive showing what looks like 3 bedrooms to support the description. In fact the second bedroom has a double bed and 2 twin beds in it. The property and decor is very tired and the downstairs toilet looks dangerous with what looks like rotten, damp floorboards. The cottage was not clean with a dirty oven and hob and bread crumbs over the counter and sticky/ dirty surfaces and light switch/ socket. The beds and bed linen were tried and I found a hair when I turned over the duvet. We had travelled 2.5 hrs to get to the property and although the owner gave us a full refund via booking.com I was cross that he had allowed us to look forward to a holiday and take our money knowing the property did not meet our needs. It was stressful and we lost time whilst we sorted out last minute alternative accommodation, thankfully in the in the area but this was not compensated for.

Decking boards dangerous, property needs renovation. Bathroom shower too hot to use would be a hazard to young or elderly occupants

Lovely house, very comfortable

The view was fabulous from the lounge. The beds comfortable with lovely French doors to the main bedroom and the same fabulous view as the lounge. The place just looked welcoming and pleasant. It was great having 3 toilets, 2 showers and a bath. A smart Tv where we could access Netflix, etc was a plus too.

Nothing to speak of.
