Hartnoll Hotel

Love this place! We’ve stayed here 3 times now and absolutely love it. The place is beautiful and the bed is super cosy and soft. Breakfast was a little different this time though the sourdough toast wasn’t as nice as previous visits, and when I asked for a cappuccino at 8:30am I was told the machine took too long to set up. However, around 20 minutes later, one was brought out for the man sitting next to us. Our table also had a few food marks on it when we sat down. Other than those small issues, we still really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

More toast ,more butter. And beans on the breakfast is a MUST. A option of ketchup or HP would be great too.

Lovely, clean room with comfortable bed. Dinner was very good as was the breakfast. The grounds looked delightful. The staff were friendly.

Unfortunately the water pipes ( we think that was what it was) made a lot of noise when other rooms were using water. We were woken a few times.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr schönes Hotel, dass alle Wünsche erfüllt! Das Frühstück war der Hammer!

Beautiful surroundings, loved the garden and breakfast was so yummy.

The mattress was uncomfortable and seemed in need of replacement

The hotel has a beautiful garden and a really nice restaurant

Our room is an add-on. So it wasn’t quite as charming as the hotel. Our bathroom had glass walls, which is awkward for using the toilet. Even with the curtain, one could still see right into the bathroom. Also, there was no wall for the shower so everything on the sink would get wet.
