The hotel is lovely. The room was comfortable.

This is really difficult as everything apart from noise overnight was amazing. If you are offered room 7 refuse as the room is over the kitchen. The noise of the kitchen went on until 11.30pm with a fridge I think kicking in and out noisily all night long. The kitchen noise then started again at 5am and was really noisy. It's such a shame as the hotel was lovely. I complained to reception when I checked out after having the worst night's sleep in a hotel for many years and sadly they were not really interested and didn't offer any discount or much of an apology.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was amazing and it had a bath (a real hit for me!) and it was a nice sized bath. I am definitely returning.

The one issue I had was that I was in Room 3 and the bathroom blind was down but couldn't be closed for privacy. I think something had broken off.

Glamorous switched on and highly professional Romanian receptionist! Superb and set the scene brilliantly. Nelson - restaurant manager a real old school professional. Wow.. brilliant service and notices everything. Helped sort our family bereavement breakfast in private area following day so brilliantly - an utter professiona and experienced as team leader.

Our cosy double (room 8) was comfortable but overlooked the non stop hum of kitchen or a/c piping. Only stopped midnight til 6am

The hotel has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We felt well cared for throughout our stay. Room 9, a small twin, was larger and better equipped than we expected. The first time we have had a gun safe in a hotel room! The gardens are well tended and a lovely space to enjoy.
