The property is situated at a great location, close to the Galle fort. It has a beautiful garden and the room is super clear. Mr Ajith's hospitality is exceptional. He went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable as possible and answered all my quieries patiently. The wifi works well as well.

This is hospitality akin to a five star resort. We booked last minute due to our original accommodations having been flooded due to heavy rains. Mr. Ajith waited up for us late at night, welcomed us into his home so we can have a late dinner, and brought us lemon juice straight from his lemon tree. He prepared a delicious multi-course breakfast, helped us with our bags, and communicated with our tuk tuk driver so they knew where we were going. We really felt so special being a guest at the Tide’s Tale and wished we could have stayed longer. The room is simple, but exceptionally clean. Plus the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Ajith. You’ve warmed our hearts!

Perhaps a little noisy in the morning due to construction across the road, but it didn’t bother us much at all.

Everything! The facilities are outstanding, clean, confortable and great view to relax. Mr. Ajith a friendly and welcoming host, including the lemonade so open to share about his country and answer any questions. The food was delicious with a great combination of tradicional flavours and fresh fruits. The location is so convenient, easy to reach with a Tuk- Tuk and Pickme app, recommended for him to avoid overcharging cost.

Very welcoming, was even given a gorgeous welcoming home made lemonade! Lots of tips for my Galle trip, and made sure my stay was comfortable. Newly refurbished bathroom - best one I have seen in Sri Lanka! Would definitely visit again

We loved everything, it is very comfortable, clean, no mosquitoes and amazing value for money. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, the best ever after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Nonetheless this is the only place we have been where wifi worked perfectly and non stop. We didn’t want to leave we had truly an amazing time and the host and his wife are extremely kind and helpful.

My friend and I stayed here for one night and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Ajith, our host, was unbelievably helpful and kind. We had just made a shady experience with a tuk tuk driver and Ajith helped us get out of the situation and organised a new transport for us. He made us feel so safe and his breakfasts are phenomenal. The bedroom is clean, has AC, hot water - literally anything you need.

I hardly ever write reviews, but staying with this family has been so very lovely! If you want to experience the true kindness of the people in Sri Lanka, you should absolutely spend a night or two here, as it’s very conveniently located to Galle. Everything is perfectly clean and very modern. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and to provide me with local suggestions! Seriously, I had an amazing time!
