The Tide's Tale

Small room but extremely clean. New clean bathroom. The host was extremely kind and prepared us the most delicious breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. Great value for price.

Our host was absolutely amazing. The place is perfect, the room is clean and the bathroom is perfect. Our host gave us all the good advice for our trip, from the place to visit where to eat, also help us to find a great driver. He took the time to make absolutely delicious breakfast with always nice fruit to try and a fresh smoothie . I mean, I can't recommend the place enough ! We had a very good stay and loved Galle. Thank you so much for your very warm welcome.

Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean and new. While a little on the small side, our room was very comfortable, good value for money, and the A/C was quiet. Delicious breakfast prepared with great care each day. Our host was so nice and helpful and welcoming. Could not fault one thing. The Tide’s Tale high score is well deserved.

Room is super clean and fresh renovated. Owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips about traveling in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was very delicious. Strongly recommend if you are in Galle.

Place was perfect—super clean, cozy, and had a big bed with a great bathroom. The room had AC and was very comfortable. Ajith is an outstanding, friendly host who made us feel right at home. The breakfast was awesome, with lots of options. I highly recommend Tide’s Tale to anyone visiting Galle and can’t wait to return for another experience. The room is lovely, clean, confortable and matching the pictures. The best part of our stay is definitely our host! He is kind, always smiling, always willing to help and give recommendations on what to visit in the area and makes the most amazing breakfast in front of you with fresh food, fruits and drinks, different everyday! They both are lovely persons and we would have gladly extended our stay there! We highly recommend to stay at the Tide’s Tale and, should we find ourselves in Galle again, we will most definitely return there!

It feels home to me during my stay. Room was comfortable and clean and spacious. Was warmly greeted by the owner with coconut water. He ensures I was comfortable during My stay. Breakfast was prepared on the spot and served right to you. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Location just near to Colombo Galle Fort. And the hotel location just infront of the beach. Very recommended to feel the home experiences .

Amazing host and delicious breakfast, nice clean room to make you feel comfortable

Mr Ajith was super helpful since the beginning with all my queries and even greeted me with fresh coconut water. The breakfast was more than enough, delicious and typical Sri Lanka style. Location was also great, just a small taxi drive from the center (around 5 minutes). The room with AC was very comfortable and clean. This is a perfect place to stay if you are travelling to Galle, Sri Lanka :) thanks again to Mr. Ajith for making me feel welcome and safe!

I wish I could have stayed longer.
