BWIt was clean and in a safe area.
We had no hot water when we arrived, Friday, woke up early to go for our race, still showered with extremely cold water, came back from the race exhausted, and the situation had not changed, until 9pm. A few bats were seen in the house in the braai area roving around while having dinner. Main door wasn’t locking and risked leaving our belongings in the house, unsafe. Master Bedroom Aircon wasn’t working and had the fan which was noisy and blew strong air, that alone obviously disturbed our sleep.

The Main Suite and Downstairs bathroom did not have hot water.
ZAZALocation was great and easy accessible. Beautiful house with great layout but in dire need of maintenance and TLC.
Check in time was not adhered to and we could only check in 3 hours later. The drain in the scullery needs some attention.

ZAGreat location in a premium estate with golf course. Big house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Premium finishings, furniture, and appliances.
1. The jacuzzi was horribly dirty and unusable, and the outdoor blinds were not operable 2. We were only supplied with 1 pillow per person, nothing extra 3. The major issue is the lack of decent back-up power. There was a massive storm that knocked out the power in the area. Not the owner's fault but all that was available was a trolley UPS that could power a lamp downstairs - and a few candles. Nothing upstairs. This was a major inconvenience with kids staying upstairs. When I brought it to the property manager's attention we didn't get any solution - so we had to go buy lanterns, candles etc at our cost. If you have a house in South Africa that you're renting out, you need to have proper back-up power (e.g. generator, inverter + solar etc). This issue ruined our stay as we were without power for over 20 hours - till we checked out.
