The main room is very nice and the kitchen is very clean and has everything you might need to cook over a couple of days. The bed was comfortable and the pillows very comfortable (I am particularly fussy about pillows as well!)

The floors are very thin so when the people staying upstairs arrived back at 3am we were immediately woken up by the noise which continued and was quite load. I imagine the flat below might experience the same problem too!

Great location in centre of Cheltenham. Plenty of tea/coffee available along with shower gel etc. Very reasonably priced for its location and easy to gain access. Landlord send pass code on day of arrival.

Not much to complain about to be honest. Cleaning wasn’t fantastic; a little grubby, and in need of a lick of paint in places and a good dust, but I’ve stayed in worse. Wasn’t aware check out was 10:30 until a man knocked on the door. Seemed a strange time.

The property was in a fabulous location, car parking was nearby for not *too* expensive and a fabulously quick walk into town. The flat was lovely, used the space brilliantly to feel cosy and made us want to actually spend time there! It was very clean and had lots of helpful bits stocked up including towels and salt and pepper which was great! Checking in was a very smooth process with clear instructions & great communication from the host.

The only downsides which were at no fault of the hosts at all were the street didn’t feel super safe and we had a bit of an uncomfortable situation walking through to the car park, and we forgot toothpaste which was the one thing the flat didn’t stock!

I don’t tend to leave reviews but I feel in this instance given we booked this property based on the GOOD reviews I needed to share our experience. We arrived at 2340pm and had booked into emergency alternative accommodation by 23:50. I have stayed in a LOT of accommodations and I’m far from fussy but the state of this accommodation was frankly grotesque to the point we had no other option to move so we actually could get a nights sleep. The whole apartment stank of must and old cigarettes, the bedding made me physically wretch it clearly hadn’t been washed in weeks and smelt like old sweat. The bathroom was mouldy and covered in hairs including pubic hair and surfaces hadn't seen a cleaning cloth in weeks. The shower had very concerning stains all over the door, and the kitchen area had smear marks all over the cooker. We tried to approach the property owner to resolve issue only to be accused of lying - was told the photo of a pubic hair in the bathroom was infact a “ scratch” and smear marks were down to cleaning cloth residue and we were refused a refund despite having to leave the property due to the unsanitary state and booking in to a Travelodge and being out of pocket. Very disappointed and will absolutely NOT be returning or recommending

Great location, pleasant room with plenty of space, especially when travelling alone. Clean, comfortable, plenty of amenities. Hosts weren't present, by design, but were prompt in responding when I had a query. Didn't stay long enough to try everything (TV; heating; cooking facilities), but not a fault of the room or hosts.
