La Pomelia B&b Sofia

From the moment I arrived the hosts Maria and Jordana could not have possibly be more welcoming and helpful. The surroundings the room where I stayed the entire setting and atmosphere of La Pomelia was second to none. It’s the best place I have had the good fortune to stay in my travels in the past four weeks, better I dare say than my recent luxury stay in Dubai.Further more a direct 10min walk to the bus stop will take you wherever you want to go, in my case it was Taormina. Another winner.

A lovely B&B, family run. Peacefull place away from hustle and bustle. The owner and her daughter (who gave us some ideas of where to visit - big thanks!) Where very friendly. The bedrooms had great A/C, sheets and towels changed every day. Good.firm beds and pillows.Very clean. Breakfast was fresh and different most days. The pool and area was perfect to chill after a long day up Mt.Etna. Grazia Adam and Familia

It was an amazing stay! We felt like staying with our Nona. Every morning we woke up to smell of breakfast and coffee. Giovanna and Maria made us everything from fresh baking, to fruits from the garden, cappuccinos, espressos, eggs, bacon, panninis. Nona made sure we were full and still offered more like melon with proscuttio. Every day our room was cleaned, beds were made and we got new towels and the whole room smelled like fresh laundry. We loved the pool and the location 5min to Giardini Naxos beach and 12 min to cabel car in Taoromina. Also 5min walk is an amazing pizzeria. The pies were as good as in Rome.

I have nothing nad to say about our stay.

Surrounded by orange and lemon trees!!! With a view of mount Etna

The pool wasn’t anything I expected from pictures very disappointing…. And dangerous to get in and out of.

Everything was comfortable and clean. The host family was very friendly, and helpful. The view of Etna from breakfast and the sitting area was amazing. It is conveniently near the main road but very peaceful. The breakfast itself is delicious with eggs for their own chickens and fruit from their own orchard,, and wonderful home made cake. I would recommend this to everyone, and I hope to stay again one day.

Beautiful accommodation located in a quiet area with views to their private orange garden and Etna. The hosts were the loveliest mother/daughter team that provided us with the most delicious home made breakfast, including cookies&cake that they baked for us in the night. We would definitely come back here again! ❤️

The location of the accommodation is on the outskirts which is what we where looking for and which also gives a nice view of Etna during breakfast. It has a private parking space. The room was very cosy. The owner was very helpful, very nice and very informative. The breakfast was tasteful prepared with ingredients from their own fields.

The bathroom did not have any windows but only an extractor

We got a spaceous and comfortable room in a new build near an orange farm with a bathroom that was really suitable for disabled guests. The car was parked in a secluded area. The owners had put ramps so I could get around easily. Breakfast was served on the sunny terrace with a view on the smoking Etna. It was the best breakfast we had in Sicily : omelets or srambled eggs from their own chickens, cheeses and salami or ham, yoghurt, bread rolls and delicious cappucino with home made pastries ! The hosts made tens of telephone calls to get information about excursions and accessibility. We were happy we could stay 4 nights in this location near Taormina.
