Really nice, vintage neighbourhood, close to center and china town. swimmingpool was a big plus! Big comfy beds and clean

Staat niet gespecificeerd hoeveel bedden een dorm heeft die je boekt. Ik had de bovenste bed maar de trap is super gevaarlijk. Het is geen vaste trap en je kan ermee naar links of rechts. Dit gebeurt dus ook als je erop staat. Trap staat ook naar binnen dus maakt het alleen maar lastiger om naar boven te komen. Verder geen ruimte voor spullen in de kamer. Alleen maar volgegooid met bedden. Zwembad had groen water dus wordt volgens mij niet schoongemaakt. Ziet er zeker niet uit zoals de foto’s. Personeel is brutaal en arrogant. Totaal niet vriendelijk. Douchekop moet je in je hand vasthouden anders komt er water tegen de muur en heb je er niks aan. Ik kom hier zeker niet meer terug

Mattress not confortable - Could feel the springs a lot Lockers for bags are extremely small so nothing fits inside. Thus everyone's bags are laying in the middle of the room.

I liked how they controlled the AC because when I book hostels with AC I personally like the AC on and at some of the other hostels I stayed at other don’t like the AC so they turn it off, which can be frustrating. But with them controlling it the room at night is about 23-25°C. Their comforters are thick if you get cold easily. Also don’t be surprised if someone pops their head in your bed at 11am. Those are the cleaners and usually they are just looking to give you a free water bottle. So if you want a water just open your curtains and they will pop it in there. They’re also located next to a couple of vintage stores that are worth checking out if you have space in your luggage. Lastly their breakfast and lunch is good here. They bring it from a restaurant that is close by. I loved the chicken and basil with rice.

Not all the beds are like this, but you could feel every spring in my bed. At first when I climbed in I thought I hit my shin on the railing, but turns out it was the edge of the mattress. Though I solved this by folding my comforter accordion style and slept on top of the comforter and after that it was decent. There was still indents on my ribs where I slept from the spring, but it was not the end of the world. Maybe if you get a mattress like this just ask to change bunks (I did not do this as it was tolerable). I could not figure out why they had 2/3 of the bathroom and showers locked off. So sometime you just kind of had to wait for people to be done, but if you need to go to the toilet really bad there is one downstairs by the car park you can use.

Super auberge ! Les espaces communs sont très agréables, gros point positif avec la piscine qui permet de se délasser et se rafraichir. Vous pouvez commander directement à manger sur place (ils sont en partenariat avec le resto à côté). Il y a de nombreuses friperies aux alentours pour les adeptes ;) Nous avons choisi le lit queen size pour deux et nous y avons très bien dormi. L'équipe est adorable et accueillante. Et l'établissement se trouve à quelques minutes du Old Town Bref on recommande ce hostel si vous êtes de passage sur Chiang Mai

Seul bémol si vous êtes dans les lits du haut côté exterieur du bâtiment, le soleil tape fort et il fait donc très chaud dans l'après-midi. (à savoir la clim est coupé entre 11h et 16h30) Et le check in est à partir de 16h (un peu tard selon nous).

The uncomfortable mattress, I could feel the springs or something uncomfortable beneath me. I had to double up the duvet and put it under me to cushion the bed and I covered myself with my own sheet. The curtains on the bunk beds are very noisy and with a 16 person dorm, I was woken up at least 15-20 times with the sliding door next to my head. I asked for another bed, they changed me, but the bed was still uncomfortable and I still needed the duvet under me. Perhaps if they slotted less beds per dorm to a maximum of 10, it would be much better and there would be more space for people's belongings inside the dorms. I would have stayed 4-5 nights there because I really liked the place and the location, but with uncomfortable mattresses, noisy curtains and sliding doors and so many beds per dorm, defeats the "resting factor".
