Sea View Villa Mar Lindo nr Ponta do Sol

The villa is spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, with stunning views and one of the cleanest, most amazing pools we’ve ever experienced. It was incredibly relaxing to sit outside and enjoy breakfast each morning, and we made great use of the well-equipped kitchen and BBQ for other meals. We arrived quite late, and it was great to have the generous welcome basket waiting for us, a really thoughtful touch. The local area is gorgeous, and the town is within walking distance. The return walk is steep uphill, but manageable. The town itself is chilled and scenic, with loads of lovely restaurants and bars, we tried many and were never disappointed. Clive was very responsive and helpful when needed throughout our stay, dealing with everything promptly and professionally.

The place could do with a little more TLC in a few areas, just small maintenance jobs that a handyman could easily sort out. The lamppost by the pool is slightly distracting at night but manageable. Parking is tight, so a small car is recommended, which is generally useful across Madeira. Overall, these minor issues didn’t detract from a lovely, relaxing stay.

Impressive villa, great size, amazing views that will never get old. Owner had thought of all the little things to make it a very easy stay. I hope to go back again some day. Helpful with all questions I had.

Only small issue we had was a small leak from the bidet that we had to dry up each day. I'm sure a temporary issue that will be fixed soon.

We had a blast! This is a fantastic, spacious holiday house equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The pool is big and deep enough, and the views are breathtaking. The location is great—Ponta do Sol beach, with its bars and restaurants, is just a 10-minute walk downhill. Clive was very responsive and quickly solved any small issues we had during our stay.

Climbing back from the center can be quite challenging, as the hill is pretty steep. Taking a car is a better option if you have any mobility issues.

Very spacious and well-equipped house, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ocean view from all the windows of the house (you won't see the sunset, it is visible on the other side of the mountain). Good size and depth (1.60m) swimming pool. Very good location, 15 minutes walk to restaurants and the ocean. Ponta do Sol is a very cozy village.

Hiding the lamp would definitely increase the value even more. But we could get used to it :)

L’emplacement de la maison est ce qui nous a attiré. La piscine avec vue sur la mer. La communication avec le propriétaire est excellente. La petite attention avec un plateau de produits locaux a été apprécié Les lits sont confortables et la cuisine est bien équipée si vous choisissez de cuisiner.

On ne peut rien redire sur cet établissement. Cependant, le wifi ne se rend pas à l’extérieur.

Spacious, well presented and well equipped villa with a good sized swimming pool. Host was responsive and attentive. Well positioned to travel into Funchal and around the island. Property located in a quiet residential area.

Property is on a hill, so walking down and back up from the resort centre is a challenge, especially if you have young children or elderly relatives. Car recommended.

My stay at this property was truly enjoyable. The pool with a view was absolutely amazing – swimming while admiring the beautiful scenery was a real pleasure and the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing or activities. The location was also excellent: everything you need is close by, yet the area is peaceful and quiet, making it easy to unwind. I’d also like to highlight the great communication with Clive. He was very responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was clear from the start. Any questions I had were answered quickly, which made me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. I definitely recommend staying here – the fantastic pool, excellent location, and professional service make it a place you’ll want to return to!

Impeccably clean with modern decor and a great layout. Beautiful views. Excellent communication from host. Well stocked kitchen. Clothes washer and dryer were very useful. The location worked well for us because we wanted to stay on the sunnier, warmer coast while exploring the island rather than spending much time in Funchal. We drove down to the little town down the hill to eat dinner there a couple of nights. Ponta do Sol is one of the most picturesque little towns on the island with a relaxing vibe. There’s an additional unit on the property next to the pool, but it was vacant so we had total privacy.

- location was good. Car is a must. Paul do Mar is a very cute little village. View from the house/terrace/pool really great - pool was nicely warm. We could swim easily in April - house is big and has everything you might need for a stay (including. tabs for dishwasher, liquid for washing machine) - dark curtains in the bedrooms. - easy and clear self check-in special thanks for welcome gift :)
