GBGreat location and despite not advertising parking, we were able to park on the road outside. As an old property it had some unique features which we appreciated. The stairs down to the bedrooms in the basement are steep- and note that the twin bedroom is directly off the double in the basement- which would be ok if you’re not all adults.
The property has quite a few patches of peeling plaster which is probably as a result of its age and it wasnt as clean as some of previous places we have stayed . We were hoping to book in early to prepare for a wedding and despite multiple attempts to contact the owners only found out we could arrive early when we were on route on the morning of our stay.
GBTravelling with a work colleague but on arrival i knew it would be great to stop over with family if we're ever down this way. Real character with the cellar bedroom. Thw back garden adds value for when the better weather comes too.

Could have given a 10 - there was no bathroom mat so we had to find something to dry the floor every time someone has a shower. One of the bin in the hall had some rubbish.
