GBThe property was very quirky and plenty of rooms to stay in however I had terrible dreams (not their fault) in the dungeon bedroom.
Kitchen very small but it was adequate for us. Place was a little tired and the stairs were extremely steep and angled.

I do not recommend this place!!! The apartment had a serious damp problem. My allergies flared up immediately, and it was impossible to sleep. The owner brought a dehumidifier, but it was extremely loud and completely ineffective. The bedroom is located in the basement, which has no proper ventilation. The ceilings are extremely low — even a person of average height can’t stand upright — and this crucial detail was not mentioned in the listing. Communication with the owner was via SMS. After reporting the issue, a cleaner showed up and placed strong air fresheners, which not only failed to solve the damp issue but made it worse by irritating our senses even more. Our friends who stayed in the ground floor bedroom also felt the dampness. The owner refused to help us with relocation through Booking. We had booked for 3 nights, and the only solution he offered was to check out by 2 PM and receive a refund for the last 2 nights — which was not a realistic option, as booking another place last minute was significantly more expensive than our original reservation made months in advance. I strongly advise against booking this apartment. The conditions were awful, and for anyone with asthma or respiratory issues, staying here could be genuinely harmful.

GBGBWe booked as a family for just one night to attend a 70th birthday party at the Plough. The location was perfect for our requirements but would also be an ideal location for visiting Shropshire and the surrounding area. The property is clean, well equipped and the owners (who we didn’t actually meet) friendly, helpful and informative. The two 7 year olds in the family loved exploring when we first arrived..

Unfortunately for me personally there are low door frames and beams in the property. Also the stairs down to the lower rooms are quite steep and deep.
