SIDOU INN - Onomichi

Really cool and quiet Japanese style flat. Good for family travelling needing 2-3 rooms. Great shower! Comfortable beds Nice sushi restaurant below. We had unexpected change in plans and needed to add a day at the start, owner was very accommodating and let us book an extra day. The owner was very communicative and helpful.

Farther from train station than expected Hard to spot- see photos attached for a better photo of entrance. Tiny entrance door- tricky for anyone over 160cm tall carrying luggage.

Beautiful apartment! Bigger than expected and well decorated. Very comfy beds!! Checking in was very easy and communication was excellent

Beautiful traditional architectural features with a modern fitout.

No outlook to outside from windows. Noisy refrigerator. Head banging entrance door that presumably an architect thought would be a good feature!!

good location and quirky/interesting layout and fittings. Looks like it used to be a number of private dining rooms and they changed it to accommodation.

as per the other reviews, very tiny door (chest height so need to bend) and very narrow stairs therefore definately not suitable for bigger suitcases. The lay out was odd and just didn't feel right. Airconditioning was OK but noisy, having an industrial kitchen the fridge kept turning on and off all day/night and couldn't turn off the hall way light. No external lighting which I didn;t think was going to be a problem, I didn't like. Some people will love this place, and others won't.

A beautiful apartment! Very clean with lovely furnishings. Two lovely rooms for sleeping, lounge and dining rooms. Would be excellent for a family.

It’s a bit dark and needs lights on all day- no windows.
