NEW Modern home near Airport, Beach and Fast Wi-Fi

Somewhat modern, good aircon and hot water.

Read the description carefully, I booked long term thinking I had a fridge and could prepare food. Steep dangerous staircase and door locks are merely a suggestion. Housekeeping for a FEE. Not as NEW as the title suggests.

Lors de notre arrivée nous avions reçu des instructions concernant le nom de notre chambre et la clé à récupérer dans une armoire. Nôtre clés n’étais pas la. Nous contactons le responsable via whatsapp qui nous dis de récupérer la clé d’une autre chambre. Cette chambre était déjà occupé. Après un moment de gêne nous nous rendons compte que l’homme qui était dans cette chambre avait la clé de la première chambre qu’on devait avoir (les clés ouvrent donc toutes les chambres). Nous entrons donc dans la chambre prévu dès le départ. Fenêtre de SDB ouverte et cassée impossible de la refermer moustiques dans la SDB avec une porte qui ne se ferme pas. Fourmis dans le lit. 32 degrés dans la chambre avec en prime une Clim qui ne fonctionne pas. (Cassée et sckotch de partout) Nous contactons le responsable qui s’excuse mais ne nous apporte aucune solution. Nous décidons donc de partir et par chance nous trouvons un hôtel parfait à 23h30 … Comble du comble. Malgré nos réclamations via booking pour le moment aucun remboursement ne nous a été effectués. Sachant que le propriétaire nous a garanti un remboursement

Friendly staff Fast wifi Security was great

The biggest issue I had was pretty much out of their control. My unit had ceiling to floor windows making up the whole east facing wall. That means during the daytime, the place heats up to temperatures that were about 33 degrees Celsius ( about 86 Farenheit). There was no way to open the windows and the ac unit was no match,even on it's lowest level. There was also a very steep and winding staircase, making it difficult if you have heavy luggage. However the staff helped me carry mine up. There is a dog next door that sort of whines when he barks. He is never quiet.

I like the room it was clean just the bathroom was small and no bathtub. What i dislike was a lot of dog/cat poop in the parking area. I stepped on one & smells bad in the surroundings. Dogs were barking at night!

Terrible! I was in a taxi from the port 10 minutes away and they messaged at 7:30pm (check in is 2pm) to say I can’t stay due to plumbing issues. I get this happens but very frustrating! Wasted my time and money with the taxi

The pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is, it’s a room with a double bed and a bathroom very simple. My experience was not great - it’s a self check in service and the owner sends you a message with all the details/instructions, after getting inside the instructions told me my key with my room name would be hung up waiting for me - it was not. Therefore I tried to get hold of the owner at 10pm - the time I advised I would be arriving before hand and had no answer. The WiFi instructions were also incorrect and I had no sim (was lucky there was a small boy playing on his phone who had the correct WiFi and helped me otherwise I would’ve had no way to contact the host). I heard nothing from the host and ended up taking a different key and checking into a different room as id spent all day travelling and was exhausted. I finally heard back at 12pm with a ‘apologies for the inconvenience’ and no explanation as to what happened. Overall as a solo female traveler this lack of communication left me without a bed late at night in Cebu which was not ideal. Although it’s in a gated community, if you leave the gate to go to the shop it really didn’t feel too safe. Unfortunately I wouldn’t come back or recommend.
