Surfers Lodge - Rest Bay, Porthcawl

Great location. Excellent host

Beautiful place to stay. Clean. Free parking. Lush little garden. Close to shop, pub and chip shop (although closed when we stayed) town centre only a 5 min drive or 30 min pretty walk by the sea to town. Rest bay close by, 15 min walk down.

Great location. 5 minutes from the beach and right by a fish and chip shop!

No gate to the garden - young children could escape onto the drive and pavement.

The house was gorgeous. Facilities great and comfy bed.

I dont live local to the area so wasnt sure of the location properly. the location lets it down slightly as it is in a cul-de-sac. The pictures make it seem it is more remote. The entry doors need curtains as i felt the owners next door could see in, which didnt make me feel very comfortable as the fence is quite low - so didnt feel very private.

The property is fantastic, check in really easy. It's modern and well equipped and a great thought out space for a couple or small family like us. The beds were super comfortable. Only a short walk to Rest Bay and a 10- 15 min walk to town centre. We only stayed overnight and wished we could have stayed longer. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Everything it was very modern, clean, can’t fault it and the host was lovely will be back again soon.
