Very modern and comfortable

No blinds across the patio doors so felt a bit exposed at night

A very nice, quiet and surprisingly spacious lodge, you have everything you need with plenty of privacy tucked away in a residential area with all the amenities very close by. You feel very safe and secure including your vehicle with free parking, everything is very modern with an extremely comfortable bed, a rain fall shower you don't want to get out of and a warm spacious open plans kitchen living room with a garden area that would be fantastic in the summer.

Only thing I didn't like was that there is no curtains or blinds on the bifold main door bit that is just a personal preference as nothing overlooks the doors.

Modern, Clean, just been decorated, New?

The “private car park” is actually a public car park used by a stream of cars going to the “chippy” (hardly a restaurant) and the hairdresser and corner shop.

It was clean and comfortable. Well furnished and warm when I put on the heating. Clear instructions given by the owners and a follow-up email sent following the stay.

The apartment isn’t as close to Rest Bay as I thought it was from the pictures. It’s actually in the middle of a built-up area and had to be accessed round the side of a house. The wind was so strong that I had to lock myself in the bedroom in the afternoon because the door kept opening. I felt very exposed because downstairs was all glass doors with no blinds, so I couldn’t relax. It made me feel like I was being watched. Also, when entering and leaving the apartment, I had to lock and unlock the door in darkness. There are security lights, but not by the front door or the key box. So accessing the key from the holder and trying to put it back was scary. It is a lovely apartment though, and the interior pictures are spot-on. I was reluctant to write this, but if I answer honestly, maybe things can be sorted for future guests, such as extra outside lights or downstairs blinds.
