Quiet and excellent room

So welcoming, staff really friendly. Pub was lovely, nice roaring fire as you entered and good choice of beers, ales etc. I stay in a lot of places, the room was superb - very high standard, heating worked great in the icy weather outside, underfloor heating was and added bonus in bathroom. Really liked the bottled water, an option, I feel should be in every bedroom across the industry. As I said, high spec on all parts of the accommodation. Food in restaurant was excellent, I can’t wait to return.

We had 2 rooms - one in the original thatched barn with timber beamed beautiful ceiling and one in the newer block. Both rooms were cosy and quiet, and very clean, with excellent showers and bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious, the staff very helpful and the original pub is beautiful. Lovely quiet country location too.

One of the bedrooms was a little too hot for us (we like a cold bedroom) - instructions on how to work the thermostat in advance would have been helpful.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Zimmer mit angenehmen Badezimmer. Sehr praktisch das Restaurant direkt daneben.
