"Charming old home in a great spot, but the stay felt tired and overpriced."

This historic house itself is charming and in a wonderful location, and the breakfast was tasty and nicely done. The owner is friendly and clearly enjoys sharing stories about the home and past guests. That said, the stay didn’t quite meet expectations for the price. The home felt a bit dark and tired, and could benefit from a deeper clean and some updates to make it more comfortable.

There was also an issue with the lock on our room door — after being locked out once and hearing similar stories from the owner, it became clear that this has been a recurring problem that needs a lasting solution. I was hesitant to lock the door again. With some attention to maintenance and freshness, this B&B could really shine; however, as it stands, it feels somewhat worn and falls below the standard I expected.

"A charming, convenient, and welcoming stay—highly recommend!"

Pansy's Parlor is so convenient to Downtown Golden and to the Coors factory tour. This historic property was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Rebecca, the owner, Is so hospitable and knowledgeable about the area and history of the property. Breakfast is delicious and the home is quiet and clean. Parking is very convenient and parking pass is provided to guests upon check-in. I will definitely return to stay again in the future.
