Cape Town Heritage Hotel & Spa

Location central for Bo Kaap, nicely decorated on top floor, friendly staff, big room and shower room

Car was broken into twice parked outside, the room was a dark and a little damp, we didn't have a key to get in the main door and had to shout to wait for someone to open it when we wanted to come and go

Centrally located and walking distance to restaurants. Very good breakfast and the staff extremely friendly and always available. If you want to feel the COT vibe, Central Heritage Hotel IS the place !!

The hotel was closed when we arrived, so we had to find alternative accommodation. We have since been trying to get a refund but have been given the run around by bookings.com and the hotel has yet to respond to my requests. The ‘contact the property’ links on the app don’t connect to the hotel and I’m struggling to speak to somebody at the hotel. I would like this issue to be resolved as our booking was in June!

I loved the antique feel of the hotel, especially the first floor landing area. Additionally, I found the lady at reception to be exceptionally polite and helpful! As a bonus, the high ceilings, huge bed and great showers were fabulous!!!!

We had a fabulous stay here. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the location is very central to where we needed to be. The lady at the front desk was very lovely and welcoming. The shower was great. There is a walking tour of the Bo-Kaap nearby, which I would recommend.

The building is a heritage building, so the walls are thin and the floors creak. You can hear the street, but we didn't mind it. The location is in the city, so expect to hear city sounds. I wouldn't say that this was something I personally didn't like, but for people looking for silence at night, this is probably not the right place. That being said, we didn't hear much noise after 11 pm.
