Lovely comfy, clean and cosy lodge. Perfect location for all our favourite places in Northumberland. Weather was even kind enough to allow for a dip in the hot tub. Perfect!

The only thing that would’ve improved our stay would’ve been another couple of nights there!!

Great location for our purposes. Very clean and quiet.

Twin beds were not really meant for big adults: mattresses were a bit short and beds a bit narrow.

A nice little place in lovely surroundings, loved the Jacuzzi and the location. Had a lovely stay at Otters Rural Retreat with my elderly parents. It had everything you needed on hand, was lovely and clean and thanks Marie for keeping us well informed of how to get there, what to do on arrival and what was needed to make our stay more enjoyable.

My only suggestion would be to state the 2 single beds are very small, mainly for a child or small persons. They would also benefit from using a mattress topper on as they were uncomfortable/springy. That said we made use of the sofa bed, which was better for us.

Felt so welcome before even arriving by Marie, all the relevant and welcoming information not only about the lodge but the park itself and surrounding attractions.Lodge was immaculate and very comfortable, loved the location and the hot tub was the best one up to date we have been in. Internet also was superb. Would love to come back in the future.
