Martin & Rachel made us feel very welcome. They especially gave us great information on the surrounding area and even showed us the chickens at the back of his garden!. It was also good of them to let our friends park for a little while as we took just one car. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Overlooking the nearby horses & alpacas. It was sooooo quiet!

Nothing! It is possible to walk to the nearest pub but may be a little tricky coming back at night, unless you were driving.

Loved my stay at Stares Cottage. Great location, lovely accommodation and a special mention goes out to Martin who was very welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure I was comfortable and happy! I would definitely visit again. Thank you!

"Quiet stay, friendly hosts"

The shed is clean and cosy. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and tranquil. Perfect for a retreat.

Will be better if shampoo and shower gel can be provided but this is only a small issue and they have everything else that we needed. Best to arrive when there is daylight as it is not the easiest place to find (in the middle of some farms!).
