Room was lovely so were the staff willing to help with anything.

How cold the place was, I came on a Friday afternoon fine, and left Sunday morning with a full blown cold. My friend room, her room key stopped working even the housekeeper couldn't get it to work either. Your restaurant menu is not that good, what you had on the lunch time menu we would have gladly had that for our evening meal. ...

Bed mattress was a bit to soft

There was a vast variety of good available for breakfast. I had a cooked breakfast and it was lovely. The location was perfect for where I wanted to visit and was extremely good value for money. The room was gorgeous, sizeable and bed comfortable. Mine overlooked the gardens which were beautiful even in March and full of bird song. Plenty of parking spaces available.

There were noisy people in the room next door who kept me awake past midnight. That's not the fault of the hotel though. It was unfortunate that there was no internet connection, but again no fault of the hotel as it was a regional problem.

Booked this for my bday as my partner had me to choose what to do, I wanted a pamper day bday so booked an overnight stay and facial. First of all, although we asked they do not have any small freebies for bday celebrants everything goes with a cost but thats ok I thought maybe it will be worth it still. However, service was bad - wifi didnt work for our entire stay, there was a noisy couple next door that we complained as we cant sleep. We were kindly offered another room across and by 2am we finally slept but early in the morming there was noise of bath towel racks outside being pushed. We ended being tired on our pamper ourself day 😔 i just looked forward to facial, we chose the deep cleansing as described from the website this will clean our pores. I have always done my facial in the past and know the types well. On the day of facial, they didnt read our forms and had a disclaimer they can clean pores as they are not specialists. I mentioned reading the description from website and was advised they will try their best - well they didnt. My partner was not given neck and shoulder massage although its supposed to be part of what we booked. Oh breakfast didnt go so well too, they control their release of fried eggs and had to wait for them
