The Mad Hatter's Shepherd's Hut

The accommodation was one of the cleanest that we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally roomy, cosy and attention to detail was appreciated with provision of toiletries and décor of the property. The hut faced beautiful views of surrounding fields.

The hut was near a main road.

I stay here often when travelling south, visiting parents. I'll continue to use these facilities when its available for me. Which fortunately has been every time I've travelled south to Hexham/Oxton.

We stayed at the Mad Hatter’s Hut for a night en route to Scotland and it proved to be the perfect choice. It was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay including a microwave and two ring hob. There was a table and chairs on the small terrace outside the Hut which, had the weather been better, would have been a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine admiring the lovely rural views.

Amazing little hut. Beautiful location & views. Property was spotless. Recommend for any couple for a lovely night away. Will be back.
