Risteski Apartments - St. Naum

Great location

The room was very small

The location is superb! You are a few steps from the beach and a couple of minutes' walk from the St. Naum Monastery. The food and ambiance of the restaurant is excellent! In the room, the WiFi is strong.

The entire apartment is tiled, and the bathroom tiles are always wet. I'm guessing it's from humidity, but I'm not sure. The air conditioner is running, but we could not change the temperature setting. It was either on or off. The manager works in the restaurant, and she is a wonderful gal, but it wasn't easy to find her when we checked in. The parking attendant told us she works in the restaurant.

It was a wonderful experience to stay in an apartment just 10 meters from the beach and in beautiful nature. The apartment was clean with a terrace and a breathtaking views of the lake. The restaurant is 20 meters away in a beautiful setting of nature and spring water. Their dishes are very delicious. The Risteski Apartments have several attractions such as horseback riding in nature, ATV riding, boating, etc. The staff in the restaurant, as well as everyone else, are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I recommend the Risteski Apartments in St. Naum as well as the Ostrovo restaurant for all those who want to truly enjoy their holiday.

Although our arrival was duly announced and confirmed, no one welcomed us from the host's side except the cleaning ladies who we found who spoke neither Macedonian nor English. The pictures of the apartment are a complete deception. The entrance to the apartment is located on the busiest path in St. Naum, which leads to the Monastery of St. Several thousand people pass by in Naum every day, which means that there is no privacy. The walls in the room are covered with mold which makes the room smell damp. And the simplest request for another sheet was refused. The internet did not work and neither did the TV due to no internet connection. The beds are too hard and the extra bed has no mattress and was uncomfortable to sleep on. Although the reservation was made for 3 adults, the extra bed was a pull-out couch. The pillows were a disaster and the spare pillows were dirty and unwashed.

Location, and one person from the staff that usually was talking care of everything that we needed during breakfast. SHE was very polite and she treated us with a lot of Respect and kindness.

During our stay, our room didn’t get cleaned at all.. We did not get any fresh towels , and needed to dry and wash them by hand in the sink if needed.. we actually arrived 30min. earlier and we became the key from the cleaning staff instead of the manager.. and yes as expected we needed to search for the Manager so that we can finally pay for our stay…..(found her on the third day) We didn’t know where to go for breakfast because we didn’t get any information. And we didn’t know that the beach chairs are in the price .thanks to the man that was working on the beach because we got 99% of the information about everything from him. 😅 You should place him as Manager instead
