The property inside is fantastic! Very comfortable. The area is ok. Great bus links to the city centre. Glad there was a parking spot.

The property, although technically detached, is in an apartment building complex which we weren’t expecting and we’re a little confused about. Directions sent a bit earlier would be great as we had to stop at a shop to find wifi in order to get directions. Photos are just so you know where to look to find the place as we were expecting a detached home on a street.

Good tidy house, ideal as a base to explore the city with a short bus ride away.

Great apartment and actually looks like the pictures on line. Communication was 10 out of 10 Would definitely recommend this apartment-was in Edinburgh the following week and it wasnt available but would book again

Nothing negative

This is a lovely little duplex apartment located about a 40-min bus ride out of the city. It comfortably fit six of us - two adults and four children, without having to use a couch bed. The washing machine, kitchen facilities, and the cosy layout of the lounge area all enabled us to have some much-needed quiet time after a hectic 2.5 weeks of travel and one-night stays. Make sure you stay at least two nights to really enjoy the solitude and rest.

We had a problem with the toilet on the last night and I told the host immediately, who was keen to send someone around then and there, but given it was almost 11pm, this was deferred to the next morning on our departure. This was just usual wear and tear and not something the host or the property should be blamed for, but wanted more space to explain how proactive the host was. There truly wasn't much of anything we didn't like - except the 40-min bus ride into town, which is actually a blessing at times when you want to escape to a quiet suburb.
