Es ist ein kleines Paradies. Das ganze Team ist soooo aufmerksam, liebevoll und Mega freundlich!!!!!! Dort zu buchen ist ein Muss für eine Reise durch Sumatra. Ach ja, die Küche einfach nur lecker und alles wird von Riksey und sein Team selbst zubereitet!!!!! Danke für alles!!!!!

Amazing place, just book it! Nice and comfortable room located outside of touristy part of Bukit Lawang, next to a river, surrounded by jungle. You wake up to birds singing and monkeys running around. River is nice to swim in too, perfect, quiet place to relax. Staff is super friendly too, Risky can help you with anything u need and they cook delicious meals. Would be back, thank you!

We had an amazing stay!! The location is beautiful, surrounded by jungle and nature, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The jungle trek was an unforgettable experience, seeing orangutans and gibons in the wild was incredible. Everything was very well organized, and the rafting at the end was so much fun! A special thanks to Arif for all his help and kindness. He made everything easy and stress-free for us. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Kupu Kupu Garden was lovely. Arif was exceptionally kind and attentive, making sure that both our arrival and our return went smoothly. He personally arranged the transportation for both journeys, taking into account our schedules and ensuring everything was stress-free. We also booked a half-day jungle trek through Arif with professional guides, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Walking through the lush jungle and seeing orangutans in their natural habitat was unforgettable. Although they strongly encouraged us to do the full-day trek, we recommend that travellers who are not used to hiking in these conditions opt for the half-day, which was more than enough. We met several people who regretted booking the full-day and had to turn back. We really appreciated the warm hospitality, seamless organisation and genuine care we received. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

If there is one drawback, it’s that the property is about a 20–30 minute walk from the village’s main street if you don’t go by motorbike. The sun sets early and doing the walk at night is not ideal, so plan accordingly.

Wszytko było świetne. Ładne pokoje z dużymi balkonami. Przepyszne jedzenie. Najsympatyczniejsza obsługa. Super wycieczki. Spędziliśmy tu wspaniały czas. Dziękujemy Arif i pozostałym osobom. N

Nice surroundings in the jungle and the staff are amazing. Really friendly people especially risky was in for some good conversations. Also nice to have a shared dinner to share some story’s.

Maybe the mosquite net can be replaced. Next to that it was really clean and good. Especially considering you’re in the jungle!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij gehad bij Kupu Kupu Garden. De sfeer van het dorp Bukit Lawang, de jungle maar vooral het behulpzame personeel en de ligging van Kupu Kupu midden in de jungle maakte ons verblijf onvergetelijk. Onze koffers waren tijdens onze vlucht achtergebleven in Singapore en mede dankzij de inzet en het contact van Arif met Singapore Airlines werden deze snel nagebracht. Superfijn. Arif regelde daarnaast voor ons een tweedaagse jungletrekking met gids Odin en Aria. Deze was pittig maar zo mooi om te doen. Dit verblijf was een heel mooi begin van onze reis door Indonesië en raden wij iedereen die goed ter been is aan.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und kompetent. Die Lage ist ca. 2km vom Ort Bukit Lawang entfernt und somit sehr ruhig.
