Communication was via the Booking.com app, which is counterintuitive and difficult to use, which was not what we needed when trying to check in after a long day walking the Thames Path. It would be much better if messages could be sent direct to email or phone. There was no soundproofing apparent in the room, so we could hear the neighbours very clearly. The room was small and the mattress felt cheap and uncomfortable. So much so that we didn't spend the night, but instead took the bus into London and stayed in a hotel that did have soundproofing, a good mattress and space.

GBGBGBA little hidden gem! It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once inside, it’s very nicely finished and incredibly clean. The room is spacious enough, with a lovely ensuite and a comfortable bed. The shared kitchen is also very nice and well-equipped.
The check-in process involves a key safe on the side of the property, but it seems there are multiple keys in each safe, which can lead to issues with keys not being available. With four bedrooms in the property, I think having four separate safes would make the check-in process much smoother. Despite the small issue with check-in, I would 100% stay here again as it is a very lovely place to stay.
