Casa De La Vina

Clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Very good downtown location is near to restaurants and shopping. The listing is somewhat deceptive. This is a very nice Air BnB type property; for anyone who has done any international or domestic travel, this is not 5 star hotel. There is no staff on sight. All communication is done via text, email or phone. The room, while nice, has issues when compared to simarly priced properties. The bathroom is small. Oddly there is only one light switch for the entire room so kitchen area and bedroom area are brightly lit on one switch with only two minimal lights by bedside. Box water is just bad tasting. It was a surprise to arrive and find out that no staff was on site and that rooms would not be cleaned daily. They should do a better job of communicating this. Our room safe didn't function but no onsidte maintenance staff to fix it. All in all, a clean, pleasant room but I expected more of a hotel experience for $275 a night as depicted by their photos. Next visit to SB and we will pay a bit more to stay in a larger, full-service property.

This is a beautiful new property. The rooms are stylish and clean. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, this hotel is perfect (no pool, spa or restaurant). After hours, there is no one from the office who picks up the phone so make sure that you get all your questions answered during the day.

We had a wonderful stay to Casa de la Vina. The room was beautifully arranged and well appointed with everything we needed throughout the trip. There was ample parking and the location is extremely walkable to downtown and the beach side. We will stay again next time we are in Santa Barbara!

If it is available, stay here. This is the most thoughtfully and comprehensively equipped apartment I’ve ever rented. It is also beautiful and comfortable, with large bedrooms and huge bathrooms. It has a great location for exploring downtown Santa Barbara on foot. I can’t say enough good things about our stay.

Great stay for the Santa Barbara half marathon last weekend. Bed was super comfortable and the location was perfect for a quick walk to the race. Kitchen is super convenient for those with a longer stay, although we opted to explore and eat out this time. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Completely renovated. Since we didn’t have a car it would of been nice to have a bell desk to check our luggage at, but we appreciated that they accommodated our request for early check in so we could stow our bags. Would recommend.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful, beautifully appointed room. Nice firm mattress. Easy parking. Checking in with no staff on the premises, using emails and texts, was new to me, but perfectly easy and convenient.

Easy check in, however, The entrance to your room is a code. The system network can go down and you won’t be able to get in. We did have to wait for sometime to get access but the phone concierge helped us get access with a physical key instead of a code. Probably the most Airbnb like place with great services. We stayed in the room with its own kitchen and large bathroom. It was so nice, clean and modern.

Superb location and beautiful property. Highly recommend for a family or two couples.
