Sage House - City centre Hanley, Alton towers

The house was spacious and mainly well equipped . The location was good for our trip to the Churnett valley Railway for The Polar Express ,and near to the local Town Centre.

The upstairs floorboards were very noisy and could be heard throughout the house. There was not enough towels for four of us. The only sponge cleaner available was well used and had to be binned, luckily we had brought our own with us .

Grande maison fidèle aux photos. Kit de bienvenue sympathique. A disposition : lessive, produit vaisselle, condiments, etc... Super pratique car ça évite de venir avec tout ça. Linge de lit et de toilette fournis . Lits fait à l'arrivée. Facilité pour récupérer les clés et pour partir .

L'emplacement car nous avons eu plusieurs soirées où il y a eu des feux d'artifice à quelques maisons de la nôtre, le tout sans raison apparente. Si pas de feux d'artifice, le quartier est calme. Le salon pourrait être plus cosy. Mais ça, c'est un détail.

The house was spacious, clean. There was 6 of us staying and plenty of room to not be on top of each other. The beds were comfy. We had 2 cars and had no problem with parking both cars outside the property

Not having a welcome book with explanations on how to use the appliances e.g. the electric hob, oven and boiler as we had no hot water when we arrived. The shower head didn't stay in place so had to keep it in our hands whilst showering. As the beds were all doubles it was a tight fit for the adult children sleeping together, could do with 1 room having single beds in it.

Everything was clean and well Maintained

The oven was a bit of a nightmare to operate, but didn’t end up using it in the end. Generally enjoyed staying here, and would definitely stay again. Only downside which is minor, is that it could do with a bedside table and a mirror in the bedrooms

I didn't get along with the bed. Probably just because it wasnt my bed.

Good spacious living area, good kitchen. Bedrooms a good size and comfortable. Nice bed linen on beds, fresh towels available. Convenient location for Alton towers and plenty of attractions and activities nearby. Good communication from landlord.

The area didn't feel entirely safe to walk about. Apart from the kitchen, the rest of the house is in need of refurbishment and updating. The bathroom and bath itself were dated and no bath stopper. House has the potential to be really fabulous spot if it was updated and refurbished to the standard of the kitchen.

Location was very good easy access to Alton tower my family enjoyed there stay house was very clean kids enjoyed it will stay again

Lack of kitchen equipment. Small things like no bottle opener, scissors, over gloves , toaster all of which were needed during our stay. No working light in one of the bedrooms. Shower terrible and plug doesn't fit bath! But the thing that got to us the most was the absolute stench of stale smoke , particularly in the bedroom I was sharing with my 9 year old daughter. No key for the main front door , just the door into the porch which felt very unsafe. Couldn't open doors from conservatory into garden and the sliding patio doors were almost impossible to open/close!!
