The Old Bell Inn

The staff were friendly and welcoming. I particularly like the beverage offerings in the room, the choice of decaff and the water in refillable glass bottles are a great idea. The house toiletries were fragrant and gentle. I liked the quirky feel of the room with a almost unperceptible tilt to the floor!

I paid more than I did than last time and I decided to book a cheaper room, which was absolutely fine and the saving paid for something else.

Fantastic hotel with really friendly staff, the room was spotless and very well serviced, the bar was clean and the food was very good, both beer and food reasonably priced, fantastic location to the train station and right in the heart of the town centre

Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good TV. Location was great. Parking available at the back of the hotel.

Please could you sell more snacks? Chocolate, biscuits!

Old traditional hotel, full of character, good beer and food, pleasant stay. Friendly staff.

Property was ideal central location, had a good restaurant where enjoyed Thai food. It was clean and functional and our suite had a large room with twin beds a separate toilet and separate bathroom. It is an old historical building and has a lot of charm. Staff are friendly and helpful and willing to assist with any issues. Plenty of coffee and water provided in room.

As the pub is historically old we were on top floor which could be a problem for some less fit guests although the staff did offer to carry baggage. The fittings and bathroom are older but were perfectly serviceable and clean. Room was extremely hot but a fan was provided
