The Old Bell Inn

Loved the size of the room and having a slightly separate area too. Pub was so lovely downstairs too

the beds were ok but not great. The staff were very friendly

The hotel need some love and attention, the room was ok had what we needed, the beds were ok but not great. It was just a bit tatty. We had breakfast which we paid for separately I had eggs Benedict the roll was chewy like it had been frozen and microwaved to defrost it.

Room was really spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was also ideal, close to some good restaurants, cafes and fast chargers for my EV. The food and drink at the pub were also really good! An added bonus to have the free carpark located at the rear of the pub too.

The room was quite hot, and the windows wouldn't stay open when trying to get a bit of fresh air in. We were also unable to have breakfast during our stay as it didn't start until 9am (the staff did explain this was due to low numbers having breakfast before this time in the past). We were directed to a Coffee #1 a couple of doors down that was open from 7am though, so we were able to get something before heading off each day.

Clean comfy room, good shower, good staff, reasonable rates.

No power to our sockets one night, until staff arrived 9am next morning. Pub closed early then nobody on site to help.

Friendly staff. Great restaurant and safe on site parking.
