Rough looking area of town. Outside of house was not what we expected but we were pleasantly surprised once we got inside.

NZGreat location. Refreshing to be able to open windows to look at trees and hear birds. Warm, sun filled rooms. Shower was very low pressure and frustrating because of that, which is the only disappointment.

The bed was broken and the slats came apart in the middle of the night. Underneath the bed was propped up with pieces of wood to hold the broken bed up. Worst sleep ever! You can’t expect people to pay to sleep on a bed that is broken 😡 the water pressure in the shower was also terrible.
NZI loved the cottage feels, the floors and the main bed was super comfy. Close to shops and nice and quiet street and quiet at night.

This was an hawful exoerience. Our expectations were simple and classic, namely to have a peaceful and relaxing night, to be able to prepare a meal in good conditions, and to be able to take a shower in a friendly and healthy environment, and to enjoy a "cosy" place as mentioned in the name of this rental. However, none of these legitimate expectations has been met. Indeed, we didn’t sleep at night because of the cockroaches in our rooms (there was even one on my bed!). Similarly, there was oil as well as food stuck on the baking trays of the oven, which forced us to clean them before we could heat a pizza . Finally, the shower tray had black cracks and a lot of dirt at the groove of the shower entrance door. This disgusted us and deterred us from taking a shower. All these inconveniences have upset us a lot and ruined our stay
