Cánh Buồm Homestay - Tuần Châu

The staff were nice. Breakfast was good, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and the location is close to the port.

The homestay is on the Main Street, with lots of traffic and the room has no insulation at all. You can literally hear all the traffic noise from the bedroom, it was so loud, it felt like we were literally sleeping on the street, we had to sleep with earplugs on, that’s how bad it was, which sucks because the hosts are so kind, and everything else about the homestay is good, just the noise and lack of proper insulation in the building. I hope they can fix that.

The most incredible views over Halong Bay from our windows. Right on the marina. Good breakfast and friendly young staff. There is tray nothing to do on this island other than wait to board your cruise. But the view and watching the boats coin and out was lovely.

Found Vietnams hardest bed!! The queen was excellent but the smaller second one was like a concrete slab. The staff did not service the room but did give us fresh towels and drinking water when requested.

After our cruise we wanted to stay a night close to the harbour. This homestay was really close, so a good location. But there is not much to do around the hotel. The room was big, and had a nice view. Only in front of the window was a big lamp, so even when the curtains were closed the light still came in. Breakfast was oké!

The room was lovely, famous views and a comfortable bed ( unusual for vietnam!) Room clean and light we had top front corner overlooking the sea - kettle but no tea/coffee etc, basic toiletries - sufficient for 1 night - lower floors we saw using stairs from 5th floor were very dirty, cigarette & rubbish all over the floor - didn't seem to be used for guests only saw one other couple there - but not great to see such messages- didn't have breakfast as needed to check out early ( no one around had to shout for someone to check out) are a weirdly & eerily quiet when we stayed all around area considering its Halong Bay port! Found couple places open to eat and little shop but rest shut down, empty, no traffic, normals or tourists - nice if you want very quiet with nothing open or near!

Whole place smelt of cigarette smoke ( we smoke, but outside and stale tobacco not great in an accomodation) each floor we past from level 5 was filthy, disgusting and could possibly have been cleared up instead of staff sat on their phones on lower floor - room lovely, the rest - not so much, but only needed for one night 🤷‍♀️

Amazing view! Bed was so confortable. Price so cheap!

The room was spacious. Loved the calm along the beach.
