Very nice and clean room, yummy breakfast and next to the harbour. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We were very disappointed by the laundry service. Despite its being the cheapest one, it was the worst. All the prints of my shirts I loved so much got damaged. Also the stains especially from underwear didn't go out.

Very friendly staff, good facilities, 3 minute walk to the ferry terminal, great breakfast included.

• There’s not much going on in Tuan Chau, hard to find places to eat and good shops etc. Bit of a ghost town. But it was convenient to get on the boat in the morning.

Amazing views from bedroom window. It is situated at Tuan Chau jetty so quieter . But very convenient if going to Cat Ba or doing tours from Tuan Chau jetty for one night

A fantastic situation we got a corner bedroom with the sunset on Ha Long bay view, stunning !

Be ready to stay as you are in the same room of the neighbor the phonic isolation is terrible, we had a wonderful symphonie from an other rooms toilets

Great location to tuan chau harbour for boat trips. Easy to get a grab into the main city for food or night market, etc. The room has a big, comfy bed and bathroom, and the view is amazing. The hosts let us check in early and extend our stay.

Although we had booked a balcony room with free breakfast, we had neither. The room has clearly been recently refurbished, with the balcony recently turned into an extension of the room, so there is no balcony as stated. In addition, the extension includes a loose roof with gaps which lets in mosquito. This gappy roof also meant that the room is very noisy from sounds from outside. There was no mention of the free breakfast we had booked. There is not much to do on the island and food choices are limited (however as mentioned above it's easy to get a grab into the city). As stated in previous reviews, communication is an issue here (if you are used to the ease of travelling whilst being English speaking). In addition, the air-conditioning unit is in Chinese so you have to use translator app to use it or you've got no hope. Although there is a kettle, there are no cups. And the duvet is just a sheet which is too thin (personal opinion).
