The property was spacious, well equipped and finished to a high specification and in a quiet location. The location was rural however a short drive and close enough to local amenities if needed. The property was more spacious than the photographs suggest, particularly the bedroom and bathroom. The property was very clean and the host was lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed a great break in very peaceful country setting and in very comfortable accommodation. Good instructions for the accommodation and the local area. We visited in August when the weather was pleasant, there is outdoor seating space for better weather and a log burner for the winter, so would be comfortable at any time of the year. Our only issue was we couldn’t stay longer and would definitely stay again, highly recommend this accommodation option. It’s a great place to escape, unwind and relax.

One thing to note is there is internet available however no TV, this was not an issue for us but may be for some people.

Stunning, modern self catering apartment in a beautiful rural area. Bijou but big enough for 2 people. Everything you needed was at hand. A few mins drive from the ferry port. Loved seeing the animals in our garden 🤩

I would have sacrificed a kitchen unit to fit a larger sofa in.

Spacious and clean

It had everything you needed. Was in the middle of nowhere. Very idyllic and peaceful. Loved the free roaming animals. Perfect location for the Islay ferry. Bed was very comfortable. Slept very well.

There was nothing.

A beautiful location, nestled in lovely green countryside. It is very quiet, with the only real sounds being the farm animals from the surrounding area. The suite is clean and well appointed, with a modern bathroom. We spent a few nights and managed to make cooked breakfasts and dinner for two people with all the supplied kitchen utensils, pots and pans. The bedroom is unusual in that there is a door to the connected B&B, which was a bit of a surprise! Whilst you can open it from the suite side, it never came to anything. You can here the sounds of the B&B, such as the kitchen. This didn't really bother us though. Please note, there is no television and the WIFI is not great, so this is a a break from streaming etc... Our host Andrea was very friendly and responsive to any queries that we had. As noted in other reviews, there are some steps up and down to get to the suite, so bare that in mind.

The private road to the accommodation is in poor condition, with many pot holes.
