Self-Catering Suite in rural guest house 10 min to Islay Ferry Terminal

We stayed for 3 nights. Lovely little apartment, very comfy bed. We had a friends wedding weekend just down the road at Ronachan House so location was perfect, could even walk there. Only wish we’d had a little more time to see the animals!

Great location, good quality accommodation, clean, comfortable, easy parking, log burner.

It was very noisy in the mornings as appears only a door between bedroom and B&B kitchen. As a remote location it might be nice to have some basic supplies on arrival such as milk but there was eggs and coffee so this would only be an added bonus. For other guests the local garage closes at 1900 on weekdays and the nearest other store is in Tarbert and closes at 10. There didn't appear to bw anywhere local to eat out. We never met the hosts.

Easy check-in. Nicely presented accommodation. The kitchen/ lounge small but adequate and well equipped. The WiFi works well.

It would be nice to have a small TV. I have never used an induction cooker, so a simple manual would have been helpful,

Even though it is a guest house with a separate b&b you would never have known..didn't see anyone , plenty of chickens and sheep around though

Beautiful apartment set in a lovely garden. Very convenient for the Islay Ferry. We received a warm welcome and were very grateful to the owners for allowing us to move our booking forward a day when our original ferry was cancelled.

Modern and clean

Very stylish mini-apartment, thoughtfully and cleverly furnished. Comfy bed, decent shower, well equipped kitchen area - and the bonus of a log stove in the kitchen/main room. Really good location for the ferry from Kennacraig - just ten minutes away.

Nothing really - you have to go up and then down a short flight of steps to get to the apartment, but the access path is well lit and the steps are wide with handrails on both sides.
