Self-Catering Suite in rural guest house 10 min to Islay Ferry Terminal

We enjoyed our stay with Kat and Andrea very much. We were shown around the apartment and handed the keys. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The apartment is very cosy, stylish and immaculate. The range of animals on the property adds a lot of fun. The sunset over Jura from the top of the garden was fantastic. Parking was ideal, not far from the apartment. We really recommend that you sample Andrea's cooking / hosting. The evening meal we tried was wonderful.

Perfect location as we were visiting islands and ferries were easily accessible by car; liked the owners Kat and Andrea very much as they were friendly but gave us privacy; liked the ambience of the place- we loved the ducks, hens etc going about being “country” people ourselves; beautiful new shower-room with quality toiletries; very comfortable bed; very well equipped kitchenette; didn’t mind having no signal on our phones( there is Wi-Fi).

Everything, this place was beautiful and well presented, the hosts Andrea and Kat are the most friendly and amazing people, nothing was a hassle. Just loved my 3 days here.

There was nothing everything was perfect…maybe wifi could be better, some people may not like as no tv, I enjoyed not having it.

Didn't have breakfast. The location was superb and just what we were looking for. The food for an evening meal wasof very high quality.

This was almost perfect. The only thing was there was one toilet roll for a two night stay and we had to buy some. This is a minor quibble.

Andrea & Kat have made an exceptional self catering accommodation in a beautiful setting. So friendly, unobtrusive,in the wonderful natural surroundings in this beautiful area. Absolutely perfect for 2 wanting a relax and enjoy creature comforts. Just a lovely space and close for ferry hops. Meeting the larger family of free range animals was a big bonus too. Loved it.

Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

Be aware that if you need food or drinks, the closest store closes about 7pm, and you need to drive to Tarbert, which is the nearest town- but well worth the visit.

Absolutely perfect 😍. Kat and Andrea are lovely and very helpful. Nothing was a problem. Accommodation exceeded all expectations. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows (I have ordered two pillows for home!!!) fresh farm eggs on arrival and a warm welcome. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.
