Holiday Inn Express & Suites Stevensville - Benton Harbor by IHG

The breakfast was the exact same options all 4 days that we were there. We were extremely disappointed.

Breakfast was good. Beds were really comfortable. Newer building.

We waited an hour in a half, for them to "clean our room. There was a bar of soap left from previous customers. We had no toilet paper or tissues. Someone's else's hair ties, and a bobby pin left out. Pool was broken. Could hear everyone's footsteps No bedding or pillows for the pullout bed. Asked for a blanket, they gave us a sheet, and 4 pillowcases. Someone's sleeveless undershirt was on the shower rod. My parents didn't get a room because they booked through Expedia. Some moldy green chunk was in the refrigerator. I just don't get I waited an hour and a half for cleaning, and it was still dirty.

The staff didn’t really know what they were doing. The pool was green, the price was actually way too high. No hand soap in bathroom. And the air conditioner was so loud when it came on it woke us up all night.

The pillows were amazing! The room was clean and everything worked great.

Incompetent staff, dirty room, lack of Clean linen and breakfast.

Room was clean and looked like it was well maintained.

Issues: The sofa sleeper didn't have a mattress in it nor extra bedding for the sofa sleeper (no sheets, pillows) which defeated the purpose of getting a room with a sofa sleeper. Thankfully we brought our own blankets and tossed a sheet from one bed on top of it and used it that way. We started our stay with half a roll of toilet paper for a four day stay with four guests. By the following day, we asked for another roll and then ended up using Kleenex by the end of the trip because we didn't want to ask for more, again. The pool deck was filthy and littered with old bandaids and pool towels. This was the main reason we stayed here was because my kids love swimming so we did it even though the pool deck was gross. The pool seemed clean. We were there for four nights and never were there pool towels clean and ready to be used. We swam in the morning, afternoon, and night and during our entire stay there was never a clean towel. By day 3 we just used our towels we brought for the beach and on day four, drip dried before heading back up. Thankfully I read a few reviews before going, but after I booked, my mistake.. breakfast was fair at best. They seemed to be very short staffed and lots of food was gone by the time we got there (7:45am) but a lady was busy cooking and trying to keep up. We stuck with cereal and juice.

Breakfast was barely warm at best at serving time the first day. Second day it was a half hour late in coming out and the coffee was empty.
