Central Market - Ciutat Vella, exclusively for families - Mid-term

Absolutely spotless, beautiful apartment! Everything in the apartment is high quality, and just perfect. We never wear shoes in our own house at home and were very pleased to find that unlike other stays we've had, our feet stayed clean while walking around inside. Our family of two adults, an older teenager, almost teenager and preschooler stayed for five days in the three bedroomed apartment, and there was plenty of space for us all to stretch out. Although the apartment is centrally located, the bedrooms are on the side away from the street so it was completely silent at night. We slept very well each night thanks to the comfortable beds and bedding, and the excellent blackout curtains which were very much appreciated! Well stocked and equipped for a holiday let; there are hairdryers, towels, iron and travel ironing board, plenty of storage, two bathrooms with power showers, air conditioning in every room, a Smart TV so we could log into Disney etc for our children, in the kitchen you'll find a kettle, oven, hob, knives and chopping boards, water filter jug, big fridge and freezer. Just what you need for going to the market in the early morning to get all your ingredients for lunch and dinner to bring back and cook. Perfect location close to everything for our first visit to Valencia, though we do like walking. We walked from here to Oceanografic which took about 55minutes.

Nothing to do with the fault of the apartment owner 😊 but there was a bad smell throughout the Old Town which we could notice every time we opened the windows- we just kept them shut, it wasn't a problem. Some (not all!) other tourists! We definitely did not feel welcome as tourists in some places and I can see why. We observed some tourists being very inconsiderate. No one should demand that residents speak another language, or bump/ shove with oversized ruckpacks, or have their photos taken at the market while they are just doing their shopping. We also noticed there are a lot of dogs in Valencia , and those dogs go to the toilet all over the streets- be careful where you step. Clear directions for the apartment we had booked would have been helpful, we only managed to figure out that we were in the wrong place by looking at the photographs to see what was out of the window of the dining room. Looking back at emails I can see the address was given but, given the sleep deprivation, travel anxiety, the building not being marked, some proper idiot-proof instructions would have been very much appreciated!

Excellent location in a beautiful and comfortable apartment. The host had a representative meet us when we arrived. would definitely stay here again.

Great location with respect to local convenience, but the street had signficant construction and noise while we were there.

Noise from construction was a bit irritating. Finding the location and actually knowing where to meet was not as clear as I would have hoped.

We like the location being in the center of the city.

- Toilet seat was very loose on day one. We confirmed for a plumber for show up early next day but no response until 1-2 hours later after messaging Lena and told me that there’s been a cancellation due to plumber not available. Wish I knew sooner as I got up early and 6 hour time difference made it difficult. - We only were given one set of shampoo and body soap for 6 nights per person for a family of four ; this was definitely not enough only lasted for one night. - There’s no laundry detergent and no paper towels or napkins for the kitchen. Also was very low on dish soap. I would say with the amount of money we pay for the place which was quite pricey; the items I listed should’ve been provided enough for four people and should already be in placed before I needed to ask for extra needed items. And the toilet seat was securely to use.

Great location & comfy beds. The host was very easy to communicate with & allowed us to leave our luggage there a few hours after check out. Modern design.

A few small adjustments would go a long way. Change to regular size shampoo/conditioner/body wash vs hard to open travel size packets (one per person). Add paper products - hard to clean up with no dish rag or paper towels. Hooks in bedrooms/bathrooms. Shelf in showers.

The appartement is beautiful modern clean and neat. It is very welll located and spacious. We loved our stay here.
