All was good

The kitchen is clean.

Toilet carpet dirty. There is no shower curtain and water will be splashed easily. There is a smell of smoke in the house so it is not family friendly. The toilet could be maintained better. There are not enough hangers in the cabinet.

The communication between the owner was good

The living room had damp, the stairs are a tripping hazard as the carpet isn't secured to the floorboards, description on booking.com was incorrect, the parking was restricted spaces

The property was really clean and the location was perfect for us.

I appreciated that the property already had some of the things I needed, even though I brought my own. It was nice not having to use my own items. I also liked that there was Netflix and YouTube available, which helped keep my kids entertained during the weekend trip. It is also good there is a convenience store very very close to the property. I also like the fact the host was kind enough to extend our checkout time without any issues.

The entire house seemed unclean and unprepared for us, despite being booked days in advance. The bedsheets had hair on them, which was unpleasant, especially knowing my kids and I would be sleeping there. The house itself isn’t very child-friendly, even though it allows children. The bathroom lacked a shower curtain, causing water to splash everywhere. Additionally, the cooker switch on the wall still seemed to work even when set to off, which felt unsafe with children in the house. The street and parking isn’t well managed even though we were told we would be registered to park, there was no need for that because anyone could literally park any where.
