Lumiere Riverside - Raymond Holm - Luxurious 5-star apartment

The house is located in the center of District 7, in Phu My Hung. This is a very upscale area with excellent facilities and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and services catering to foreigners. It’s a clean, modern, and well-developed neighborhood with many expats living here. We had a very enjoyable stay. Please make sure to contact the host in advance, as there is no reception on-site, but they will arrange everything for you and provide support 24/7

Large modern appartment in a luxury block, close to a great variety of cafes and restaurants. The swimming pool was under maintenance during our stay which we were not forwarned about but we were able to use the swimming pool in the next block, 3 minutes walk away. The slight inconvenience was that we needed to message the hosts to let us in to use the pool using their face ID everytime but they were very responsive on whatsapp. There are signs up all over the reception and lift areas which warn that short term stays are illegal, which was a bit off putting. Having said all that, the area was great and very easily accessible to District 1 by grab (inexpensive - only a few UK pounds for a 20 minute ride). There is a fabulous bar /restaurant called The Deck less than 10 mins walk away, on the river. I would definitely stay again.

The View and Air con

What should have been a premium stay turned into one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had especially considering how nice the property itself appears. The venue was clearly set up under false pretenses. It became apparent very quickly that the people managing our booking were subletting or operating outside normal hotel arrangements, which created constant confusion and discomfort from the moment we arrived. The staff at the gate treated us with suspicion rather than welcome, and the entire check-in process felt intimidating and irregular. There was signage displayed that made us question whether we were even legitimately allowed to be there. Nothing about the experience felt transparent or professional it felt like everything was happening around the corners rather than openly. Access to facilities was also misrepresented. We could not use the pool freely, and most frustratingly, the Level 8 pool ,the primary reason we chose this property . was closed/offline, with no prior notice, explanation, apology, or attempt at compensation. Communication was poor, and there was a complete lack of courtesy or accountability throughout the stay. The unfortunate part is that the hotel itself looks beautiful and likely has the potential to offer a great experience. However, the people we dealt with appeared to be operating in a highly questionable manner that significantly undermined the stay. I would recommend the venue itself, but absolutely not through these operators. Anyone booking should confirm directly with the hotel that their reservation is legitimate and that all advertised facilities are fully available. Overall, this stands as one of the worst experiences I’ve had in an otherwise attractive hotel setting — disappointing, uncomfortable, and entirely avoidable.

We had everything we needed here. The apartment has beautiful interiors and feels very comfortable, just like home. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, and the space is very comfortable for four people. The host was very supportive. Please note that this is not a hotel, so there is no reception. NO BREAKFAST AVAILABLE AT THIS APARTMENT

Bath towels very small, OK for 10 year olds, not adults. No tea towels for drying dishes, no toaster. No free to air TV, only Netflix & U tube, so could not see any world news like CNN, FOX, BBC, etc.

Nice place outside of district 1. Also very near to many eateries and shops around district 2. Nearby to many big malls with supermarkets and shopping to do!
