Bad experience,disappointed with the unit ,will never repeat 1) not up to standard as in picture 2) bathroom n toilet door can’t fully close( unit B-33-XX) 3) light blinking whole night ,no maintenance (B-32-XX) 4) shower room wall all mouldy,disgusting (unit B-33-XX) 5)wardrobe door spoilt(unit B-35-XX) 6)hair dryer wire almost broken(dangerous) 7)sofa stand screw almost broken, insist spoilt by us and burned my RM200 deposit, grievance 😖

The homestay is within walking distance to Setia City Mall, and there’s a convenient connecting bridge from the car park (L3).

We had quite a disappointing experience during our stay here. Below are the issues we faced: 1. The host charged an additional RM40 per extra pax even though there was no indication of extra charges on Booking.com. It was only one extra person (can sleep on the sofa bed) they still insisted on charging. This is a homestay, not a hotel. 2. The host requested IC copies for all guests, which felt unnecessary for a short stay. It should be sufficient to provide only the IC of the main person in charge. 3. The self check-in instructions were only sent at 3:04 PM, even though check-in time was 3 PM. Instructions should have been shared at least 30 minutes earlier so guests can review them in advance. 4. Upon entering the unit, there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. 5. The room looked completely different from the photos shown on Booking.com — misleading presentation. 6. The host kept sending repeated reminders about check-out time, even as late as 11 PM on the first night. One reminder would have been sufficient. 7. We were asked to check out before 12 PM, yet the check-in instructions were sent late — which felt inconsistent. 8. There was no sound from the TV throughout our stay. 9. There was no mirror in the room, only one small mirror inside the smelly toilet. 10. No proper tissue was provided — only two almost-finished toilet rolls were given. Overall, the stay was far below expectations considering the rate charged. Definitely room for improvement in both communication and cleanliness.

location is suitable for us. only the furniture feels a bit old. Table cloth and dish wash sponge need to change new one. need more hanging hooks. Thanks for everything. Hope can get a better unit for us next year Sept2026.
