Kaia Penthouse, waking up to the sound and smell of the ocean

There was no breakfast, I was surprised not to find any tea bags or small pint of milk. We arrived late in the evening and could not get any milk or anything. So we had nothing to drink at all.

the televisions would not work as both said they had no satellite connection. The access was terrible I had a 4 x 4 and was impossible to get into property> I think it should have said that not suitable for larger vehicles, especially with parking there was no way with the car parked in front that i could reverse into the allotted parking space. So parked in the next space and a rather curt note was left on my windscreen in the morning complaining. I feel for the £270 it was not great value. Very disappointed.

The location was fantastic. Really close to the beach and town. Property was clean and spacious with everything we needed for a great holiday.

To open the bifold doors, sit on the balcony and have such an amazing view of the sea was priceless

It’s not for people was mobility issues. 3 flights of stairs and a very steep hill up to shops or down to beach

The apartment was very clean and the views from the balcony were amazing.

The area is very hilly. But if a couple in their late fifties smashed it, anyone can.

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location, highly recommended! Really well equipped accommodation, tastefully decorated and a helpful host.

The property was quite difficult to find due to road closures but once we found it, the property itself was fantastic. The lounge and one of the bedrooms have amazing views onto the sea. We were close enough to the beach that, on one occasion when the kids went to the beach without me, I could hear their voices from inside the property. Inside, the property is immaculate with three bedrooms and a lovely lounge / kitchen. A wonderful property and a great place to stay if you are looking to explore the Island.

The property itself required some structural and general maintenance - the two bifold sliding doors that open up to the ocean both were stuck and need proper maintenance - we used some lubricant that was in the house to try and ease the doors - but this was a job that needs doing when guests are not in situ - the shower in bathroom did not work at all and the other shower needs to be reset - the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable - the lounge was very comfortable and the kitchen was fine - we asked for one piece of information from the owner before we arrived and did not get a reply and it felt like we were being upsold their other properties and would have liked them to concentrate on the one we were in - we were very happy to pay full summer holiday price for the apartment but some owner care and investment is then a fair request.

Absolutely amazing views and brilliant location, handy for everything in Ventnor. Great car parking right by accommodation. Modern, clean and nicely furnished.

Unfortunately the beds were very hard which made it difficult to sleep and there was no welcome package that I normally expect at this price.

The flat is really clean, view is really good. The decoration is pretty good.

Being a guest, I really don't know why I need to strip the bed and handle the trash as it presumably is handled all in one go when the guests leave.
