Villa Rua - Stylish luxury, tranquil location in Legian, walk to beach

This is the second time staying in this villa complex as we have stayed at Villa Sintra previously. The villas are always clean and tidy, secure and have great facilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa complex in Seminyak. It strikes the perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. Situated in a central location, it's just a short 7-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants, yet it manages to feel like a peaceful retreat away from the main hustle and bustle. The villa is bright, spacious, and exactly as pictured, with a lovely pool and two immaculate bedrooms, each featuring a modern en suite bathroom. The quality of the bed linen and towels was good. The kitchen was well-appointed with cutlery, glasses, a large new fridge, and a capsule coffee machine (note: only shower gel and shampoo were provided). The staff were very pleasant and contributed to a positive experience. I would definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Seminyak!

Location, style, cleanliness, staff and value for money

An oven would have been great

the location itself was surrounded by many local stores and restaurants and convenient stores all by walking distance. If you plan on ordering food online with apps Gojet or Grab, there is a ton of variety of foods. groceries, alcohol nearby! however for the deliverer to bring the food it maybe a bit difficult as the place itself is kind of hidden. Laundromat is next to the villa and they wash, dry, iron and seal the clothes and deliver to your room once done. The pool is deep and also self cleans. The setting of the place is beautiful and the AC in the both rooms are pretty good and perfect for a hot humid day. Many essential are provided which the host will show you before you get all comfy in the villa. They also provide menu to order from and even a bluetooth speaker to play music.

You can hear the other villas but that not a dislike in my opinion. Location can be bit hard to find but not too difficult. The living space can be good for a nice warm day but on a hot day it would be nice to be outside also if there was AC. The TV mirroring only accessible for samsung devices, not for iphone users. TV channels are provided but thats all.

That we had our own private pool and that it provided filtered water. The bathrooms were modern and it’s close to shops and a convenient store.

The Villa is hidden around the back corner from another hotel and it’s down a rocky pathway which was abit hard for taxis to find. We were also flooded in this one morning and broke my sandals as I needed to find a staff member to pay extra for the late checkout. They requested cash but then couldn’t give me change and wouldn’t let me go unless I paid the remaining 60cents. So thankful for our taxi driver who had change for me, so I could pay the 60cents. Also a foul smell in one of the rooms, it smelt like mould which we didn’t sleep in. I think it was coming from the aircon which may need a clean.

This is a fabulous property in a great location. Just behind Santorini Greek restaurant. Attention to detail is amazing. Everything you need is at this beautiful villa. Highly recommend.
