Villa Rua - Stylish luxury, tranquil location in Legian, walk to beach

Photos really don’t do this place justice. It was a beautiful villa that was in an amazing location. We had an early flight and the lovely staff held our bags until check in. Villa Toru was very easy to find but definitely still tucked away the perfect amount. The staff were wonderful and attentive and the upkeep did not go unnoticed. The rooms and shared space were consistently super clean. We constantly felt comfortable and very safe at this accommodation. I could not recommend this place more!

No complaints at all

Location - equidistant the supermarket and beach, so perfect. Tons of restaurants and tattoo parlours (if that’s your thing), clothing and souvenir stores nearby. The pool - it was really, really hot during our visit, so the villa’s private pool was a welcome respite. Layout - undercover open air kitchen and living room with three ceiling fans, and two separate air conditioned ensuite bathrooms. Perfect for two couples or a group of friends. Kitchen with fridge, cooktop, microwave and conventional oven. We cooked at home for about a third of the evening meals. Recommended by a friend who had previously stayed - otherwise we would never have located the place on booking.com or any other platform. Check-in at 11pm was no problem - there’s no reception and everything is done through WhatsApp, which is very common is much of Asia. We booked the airport transfer through the Villa and I’d recommend you do the same. The villa’s location on a map down a laneway is tricky to explain - we used the nearby Pearl Boutique Hotel as our pick up point for Grab and Gojek, which worked perfectly.

Fabulous location, lovely staff, property is everything you could want. It’s truly beautiful. It’s in a busy part of Seminyak but behind your gate you would think you were mile away.

Hard to find. Needs more signage or needs in booking app the name of property ie) eddys villa or something

Excellent location to all amenities and beach. Staff responded immediately to all questions via WhatsApp group chat. Facilities within Villa were excellent and very clean. We are hoping to return in the near future!

We absolutely loved it. The Villa was beautiful. All the small touches were well thought out. It felt luxurious. Communication via wats app was excellent. We loved the cafe right outside our door. We will definitely stay again.

i think the driveway to the villa needs to be improved and no rocks and the garbage to be removed in driveway can be very smelly
