The Beatles house - Penny Lane - Contractors -Relocating

The property was in a great location for us, close to our family. It had been recently renovated and was in good condition although very basic. The kitchen was sizeable with plenty of facilities but lacked much in the way of crockery, no tea/coffee etc provided. Bedrooms and bathroom large with new furniture, mattresses not the best. Lovely new (small) towels provided and clean cotton bedlinen.

A definite drain smell as you walk in, no sign of damp walls so not sure why. No handrail on steep stairs a definite problem. Shower screen not properly sealed so water gets all over floor, no bathmat so very slippery. Plug holes need lots of hair removing. Sink not draining properly. 2 seater sofa in living area simply not enough seating. Couldn't open back door so had to use dining room patio to take out kitchen bin which was the only one provided.

Pre visit communication was not responsive. Messages left on phone number you provided on the app always went to answerphone. High anxiety and stress was caused when waiting for an entry code and then being given an incorrect code when trying to access the property Cigarette butts were evident in backyard Dripping kitchen tap and bath outflow leak No teatowels or coffee cafetiere were provided A few more sidelamps beside beds and in the dining room would improve comfort levels The kitchen light switch was very hard to locate - it was hidden behind the fridge Bedlinen was rather tired looking, unlike the towels

You guys need to get better cutlery in kitchen … this was the only snag. Also need more cups for tea and a full range of basic cooking utensils required .
