King Room at Machrimore

It was in a lovely location and had adequate parking. It was walking distance from the centre of Wells. It was really quiet and the gardens were lovely.

Would have liked a microwave.

Location was ideal ; secluded but close the shops, lovely garden, good parking. A very peaceful little spot.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable - mattress and pillow protectors much appreciated. Ideal location. Tea tray was well stocked. Milk and water in fridge. Nice toiletries.

Blackout curtains needed in bedroom. Shower needs retiling - cracked tile and dirty grout. Shower very small and not powerful enough to wash long hair. Towels not big enough for showering and very rough.

Perfect for a short stay in Wells

I had a lovely time here. The accommodation is about a 10-12 min walk to the quay and all the cafes, is peaceful and quiet with a lovely garden. It was easy to get to with a bus stop right outside Machrimore. Fiona (the host's) communication was quick, helpful, and really friendly. I appreciate just how much care has gone into this place. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and clean (the diffuser in the bathroom smelt amazing!), and there was a little breakfast station with a kettle, tea/coffee, and cookies. It felt like a home away from home. There were also many brochures for things to do in/around Wells. It was very easy to explore several towns/villages along the North Norfolk coast with Wells as a base. My favourite thing about this accommodation was being able to hear the gentle church bells every hour from the room :)

Big bed and the fridge was a bonus

Room very clean, warm and comfortable. Shower good. Garden very pleasant. Hope to stay there again.
