"Basic stay to enjoy the Lakes"

Basic but good value for the price . Close to some great places to visit. We enjoyed the lakes and this cottage was a good base for day trips out.

The rubbish bin was full to overflowing when arrived so we had to take all our rubbish to a recycling bin.parking is an issue despite the information. The neighbours made it that very clear as we tried to unload the car. The drive is a mass of potholes and you need to be very careful or risk damaging your vehicle. .

"Very peaceful, clean and cosy cottage to stay in."

Lovely little cottage, clean, cosy and peaceful area. Cannot fault our stay. Only gave an 8 due to the bumpy road leading up to the cottage, I did scratch underneath my car. I know the work on the road has been agreed to get done soon. Apart from that we would definitely return. Thank you for having me and my mum it was a lovely Mother’s Day weekend away.

Location is perfect, very close to the beach, stunning views of the mountains. Very close to great walks in Lake District. Cottage is very cosy, well equiped kitchen with all essentials.There is added bonus of underfloor heating in the bathroom.

A couple of things need repairs e.g kitchen tap, door handle to oven. Signs of humidity in bedrooms. Wood for log burner was not provided, which should be mentioned in the description. The cottage would benefit from a little bit of maintainence.

"Restful cosy cottage for peace and rejuvenate"

Cosy traditional cottage finches in garden tranquil and out of the way,country views . Great log burner . Kept us warm n toasty . Plenty kitchen appliances . Little touches of tea coffee sugar ckeaning products shampoo n gel enclosed yard for dog . Big extra but of garden with seating .. really cosy comfy beds

The side road going up to the cottage full of very large pot holes. Take extra care
